The journey to founding King Transport began years ago when I took on the responsibility of caring for my mother. Scheduling transportation for her medical appointments was a constant challenge. The process was often tedious and confusing, with many providers being late, unprofessional, and lacking clear communication. These experiences highlighted the critical need for a more reliable and compassionate transportation service.
Motivated by these challenges, I decided to make a change. I dedicated myself to understanding the intricacies of non-emergency medical transportation and met the stringent qualifications required by the State to provide services to those with Medicaid and private pay clients. This endeavor was fueled by a commitment to offer a service that prioritizes the needs and comfort of its passengers.

What are the operating hours of the transportation service?We operate Monday through Friday 5am- 6pm.

How much does your NEMT transportation service cost?Our rates depend on the distance traveled between your origin & destination. Please share those details in the online "Book A Ride" form on our website.

Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?We currently only accept Medicaid.

Is there a minimum notice period for booking a ride?Yes, at least 48 hours.

Can I bring a caregiver or companion with me during the ride?Yes, at least one companion may ride along for a small fee of $40 round-trip.

Are the vehicles equipped with wheelchair accessibility?No, we do not currently service customers who travel with wheelchairs.
